Is multi-accounting allowed on Dofus?
Yes, on classic servers, with two precise exceptions. No, on single-account servers, where that is the very idea of the server. And whatever the answer, what earns a ban is not the number of accounts, it is what a program does in the player's place. This page quotes Ankama's rules as they were written on 4 September 2026, with a link to each.

On classic servers
Playing several accounts at once is allowed. Ankama says so by omission, forbidding the practice only in named cases, and in plain words in the Launcher, which itself offers to open a session for every registered account.
The two exceptions concern PvP. On DOFUS, one person using several accounts is forbidden in Prism PvP fights and Alliance fights, with more than one account. Ankama adds that the practice is not only forbidden but technically blocked by the game client, and that bypassing that block, by any method, software or hardware, is forbidden. The reason given is fairness: those fights are prepared in advance, and one player facing a group made of one player would not be on an equal footing. The page that says so is the one on reporting violations, in French.
None of these pages sets a maximum number of accounts on a classic server. You will read figures on forums; they do not come from Ankama, and this page does not repeat them.
On single-account servers
Ankama runs servers where one player can connect only one account at a time per server. For DOFUS, they are the permanent servers Draconiros, Mikhal, Dakal and Kourial, and the temporary Temporis server. The list and the conditions are on the single-account mode page.
- The rule is enforced. Ankama checks data such as the IP address, the e-mail address and the phone number to apply it.
- The account must be subscribed, certified, meaning tied to its creator's real identity, and linked to an up-to-date mobile number.
- One connection per IP address. On DOFUS and Temporis, a second connection is tolerated on the same IP for members of one household, without that allowing multi-accounting.
- Getting around these limits with a proxy, a VPN or any other practice is forbidden.
On those servers, a multi-account tool is of no use, DofusMulti included. It is not a grey area: it is the definition of the server.
What is forbidden everywhere
The number of accounts is not what Ankama sanctions most. In its list of behaviours against the rules, Support separates what it handles itself, including multi-accounting in PvP (Prism and Alliance fights) and on single-account servers, from what in-game moderation sanctions directly: tools that automate in-game actions, bots and auto-clickers in particular, and forbidden third-party software. The page refers to the terms of use and the rules of conduct; it is here, in French.
Where a window manager stands
DofusMulti moves windows and brings one of them to the front. That is all it does, and it is what lets it be placed against each rule above.
- It modifies no game file, injects nothing into the game's process and reads none of its memory.
- It duplicates no key. A shortcut changes the window in front; it sends nothing to the other clients.
- It automates no action. Every spell, every move, every trade is yours, in the client in front of you.
- It does not bypass the PvP block on multi-accounting, because it does nothing inside the game. If the client refuses a fight, DofusMulti changes nothing about it.
The Limits section of the home page goes through these points one by one, and the terms of sale repeat them. What this page cannot do is promise a decision by Ankama: the rules are theirs, they can change, and sanctions belong to their Support. What it can do is give you the texts, so that the decision to play several accounts is made knowing them.
If one of these pages changes and this guide no longer reflects it, write to us: it will be updated, with the date.
